HVLab diagnostic instruments

Diagnostic instruments for disorders caused by hand-transmitted vibration

Diagnostic Instruments

Diagnostic Instruments have been developed through research in the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton. We provide computer-based measurement of the state of the vascular and sensori-neural systems of the hand for the diagnosis of disorders caused by hand-transmitted vibration. The instruments are also used to assess the sensorineural function of the foot. The HVLab Diagnostic Instruments are used in medical, industrial, research, and educational establishments for health surveillance, medical diagnosis, and fundamental research.
