As a result, we are always happy to hear from potential candidates for doctoral studies who are interested in joining us in our work. The Faculty of Health Sciences also offers taught programmes related to the work of this research group. Informal enquiries about doctoral or masters level study can be directed to the programme leaders.

MPhil/PhD in Health Sciences

The MPhil/PhD is designed to appeal to a range of people who are looking to undertake research related to health or social care. It takes three to four years to complete full time, and between four and seven years to complete part time.

Doctorate in Clinical Practice

The Doctorate in Clinical Practice (DClinP) is for experienced health and social care practitioners who wish to pursue a high level career in clinical practice. It takes three to four years to complete full time, and between four and seven years to complete part time.

MRes Clinical and Health Research

The MRes Clinical and Health Research programme is open to all healthcare professionals who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills that are central to clinical research. You can complete this programme over one year full time or up to five years part time, making it a particularly flexible option.

MSc Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care

The MSc leadership and management in health and social care is an inter-professional work focussed programme for people who are passionate about improving the quality of services. You can complete this masters degree qualification over one year full time or up to five years part time.
