IBD Southampton research study

Kids with Guts

Kids with Guts is a charity fund that aims to raise awareness of complex digestive disorders of childhood through research. It was first set up after the children themselves requested it.

Funding research into IBD

Under the umbrella of Southampton Hospital Charity, wards and departments are able to set up their own specific fund, and so we have done just that by setting up Kids with Guts to fund research into paediatric IBD and other digestive illnesses. You can keep up to date with our Kids with Guts fundraising activities and events on the News page.

To date we have raised over £3000. Thank you so much to all those who have so generously raised money for us. If you would like to donate or fundraise for Kids with Guts, please either contact the main hospital charity or get in touch with us via our Contact page. If you have raised money for Kids with Guts and would like us to share your story, please contact us.

Southampton Hospital Charity

Southampton Hospital Charity (charity registration number 1051543) aims to enhance the world class facilities provided at Southampton General Hospital and the Princess Anne Hospital.

Donations allow the hospital to buy equipment, fund research and provide better facilities that would otherwise be unaffordable under the NHS. With your help, the charity funds projects large and small across all wards and departments to improve patient care.

We are the NHS at its best, and your support can make a real difference.
