A recent publication by Southampton PIBD team provides a clinical update on Paediatric inflammatory bowel disease for doctors and medical students

Dr James Ashton, Dr Akshay Batra and Prof Mark Beattie have written the most recent clinical update on paediatric IBD, published in the Paediatrics and Child Health journal.

This review is aimed at medical students, junior doctors and general practitioners, giving an overview of the diagnosis, management and future treatments in paediatric IBD. The team hope that this article will provide medics with increased knowledge and awareness of IBD in children and help to deliver information to non-specialised medical professionals.
