The fourth and final of the ESRC seminar series 'Criminalising Contagion: legal and ethical challenges of disease transmission and the criminal law' is taking place in September.

Dr David Gurnham, Reader of Law at University of Southampton is Principal Investigator for an ESRC funded seminar series entitled 'Criminalising Contagion: legal and ethical challenges of disease transmission and the criminal law'. David has previously reported on this topic in an ICJR seminar last year.

The fourth and final of the seminar series will take place on the 26th September and limited spaces are still available. Reasonable travel costs will be covered by the ESRC grant.

Dr David Gurnham,Dr David Gurnham is Reader of Law at the University of Southampton and ICJR member. He was previously Lecturer in Law at the University of Reading (2003 – 2005), and more recently a Lecturer in Healthcare Law and Ethics at the University of Manchester (2005 - 2012). His research and teaching has focused on Healthcare Law and Ethics, Criminal Law and Law and Literature, all of which are reflected in his publications to date and work currently in progress.
