Jane qualified as a nurse in 1983. After working on clinical wards in various hospitals she moved into research in 1998 in Aberdeen running a Genetics of Asthma Study.
Since moving to Southampton in 2009 Jane has worked on a wide variety of research studies investigating different aspects of allergy, asthma, hayfever and food allergy, including PIFA.

Emma qualified as a paediatric nurse from Southampton University in 2004 and began work in the community as a school nurse and in a neonatal unit before joining the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility in 2007. Since then she has worked on a variety of research studies including childhood vaccines, respiratory and previously on the PIFA study.
