I choose an interdisciplinary project in order to gain a wider skill set that is applicable to a large variety of fields and research areas. I aim to develop a research based career investigating how man made infrastructure impacts the environment.

The effect of stressors on bees

I graduated from Southampton University in 2017 with an Integrated Masters degree in Ecology. During this time my research has predominantly focused on insects and their conservation and spatial distribution. My PhD aims to investigate the effect of combined stressors on bees, with a particular interest in the effect of electromagnetic fields, at the behaviour, neural and molecular level.
