Hi, I'm Mira Kreuzer and I studied IfLS PhD: Deciphering the effect of glycolytic mechanism on the transcriptional response to hypoxic stress within Institute for Life Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Different scientific disciplines exhibit different ways of thinking which is why I consider an interdisciplinary approach provides a more profound solution to such a complex matter as cancer biology. I also hope to benefit from the variety of different techniques I will learn during my PhD.

I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a MSc in Molecular Medicine in 2012. As I have always been interested in cell biology and especially cancer biology, I am happy that I found a PhD dealing with the adaption of cancer cells to low oxygen and nutrient supply.
