Label-free Chemical Imaging Techniques for Guiding Brain Tumour Surgeries

Some time ago I read a book of Prof. Jim Al-Khalili and Prof. Johnjoe McFadden “Life on the Edge: The Coming of Age of Quantum Biology”. This may put a new light into a life itself. That’s why such a complex problem cannot be studied within a single discipline.

Hi, I'm Marzanna Szwaj and I studied IfLS PhD: Label-free Chemical Imaging Techniques for Guiding Brain Tumour Surgeries within Institute for Life Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I graduated from University of Technology in Poland ( Poznan) with MSc Engineer in Technical Physics. I specialized in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance at the Institute of Molecular Physics Polish Academy of Sciences. Recently I have obtained my second degree in Natura with Bachelor (Honours).  The area of my study was mainly in Chemistry with some elements of Biology and Medicine.  I am very exciting to do PhD project in such an important area of cancer treatment.
