Congratulations to Jade Forster from Cancer Sciences and Miguel Xavier from Electronics & Computer Sciences, who won prizes for their posters at this year’s IfLS conference – Precision Cancer Medicine: Forefront Technologies at the Clinical Interface.

The interdisciplinary conference, which took place on 14 September, explored new approaches to diagnosis, imaging, targeted therapy and precision diagnostics, and showcased forefront technologies that are being translated into the clinic.

The conference was sponsored by Cancer Research UK and the poster prizes were sponsored by ZEISS and IEL.

Jade’s poster entitled “Functionalising DropSeq beads for the targeted capture of the T cell repertoire” won the ZEISS sponsored poster prize.

Miguel’s poster entitled “A microfluidic device to sort primary human skeletal stem cells from human bone marrow based on cell size and deformation” won the IEL sponsored poster prize.

Many congratulations!
