Event details

This year we have a new half-day format starting with Afternoon Tea. All the usual rapid fire research round, exhibitor stands and of course regional and external speakers.

Speakers
Our guest speaker this year is Dr Richard Scott, Clinical Lead for Rare Disease at Genomics England. Local delegates to include research colleagues from across University Faculties, Wessex Genome Medicine Centre, PHE Porton Down and National Oceanographic Centre.

Stands
We will have various sponsored stands.

Competition
The Institute for Life Sciences is again kindly sponsoring our Shortest Grant Application competition with a prize for NGS research. Competition rules can be found under useful downloads below. Applications must be 100 words or less, plus a project title, and be sent to bings@soton.ac.uk  by Friday 11 May 2018.
