The University of Southampton enjoys a high profile in both the local area and further afield. Our academics and students devote many hours a year engaging in a variety of schemes and activities that are aimed at improving the wider understanding and engagement with the research taking place at the University.

Chemistry Outreach

Through public lectures and events, open days, briefing days for leading organisations, teachers and careers advisers, demonstrations and talks in schools, and colleges, we are bringing our enthusiasm to the wider community.  Our schools outreach programme develops a strong links to engage with pupils and promote science as a vibrant, exciting and relevant subject. We aim to enthuse through dynamic, hand-on activities:
