In-house Counsellor

I had heard good things about the course after a family member met Professor Steve Saxby. I also wanted to study in a peaceful place away from London for a more peaceful environment and Southampton seemed to be the right place.

I had a good time at Southampton both academically and enjoyed student life in general. It has proved a good platform for my legal career. I look back with fondness on the small tutorial groups which provided the initial stimulus and guidance for legal thought and would recommend this degree programme to other would-be students.

I now work as an in-house counsel at a Singapore company supplying goods and services in the offshore oil and gas industry.
