On 19 October 2017 Dr Eleonora Rosati, Associate Professor in Intellectual Property Law, organised an event with the British Literary and Artistic Copyright Association (BLACA) aimed at discussing the possible implications of Brexit for UK copyright law.

Hosted at the London offices of ReedSmith, the event consisted of a panel discussion, which Eleonora chaired.

The panel featured Sir Richard Arnold (Judge of the High Court of England and Wales - Chancery Division), Ros Lynch (Copyright and IP Enforcement Director at the UK Intellectual Property Office), Estelle Derclaye (Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the University of Nottingham), Tom Ohta (Senior Lawyer at BT), Ian Moss (Director of Public Affairs at the British Phonographic Industry), and Nick Saunders (Barrister at Brick Court Chambers).

Southampton law students (pictured with Eleonora in the photograph) also attended the event, and engaged in the overall discussion.
