Internet Service Providers (ISPs) like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are shaping the world, the internet and our approach to contents. That is being made possible by a limited-liability regime for user generated content which is now put in question as ISPs and traditional audiovisual content providers have been increasingly converging.
About the speaker
Alberto Bellan is a senior associate at Hogan Lovells in Milan. He deals with intellectual property and information technology issues, with specific reference to on-line copyright, new media, and internet law. He has taught Comparative Intellectual Property at University of Trieste and holds an LLM from Queen Mary University of London.
