Interdisciplinary Centre for Law, Internet and Culture (iCLIC)

Research Degrees

We are a research-led institution and are proud to be part of the University’s thriving postgraduate community that operates right across the campus.

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise confirmed that 95 per cent of our research output was of international quality, a percentage achieved by just ten other UK law schools and iCLIC has an excellent reputation for teaching the next generation of IT lawyers. iCLIC's members are in the process of creating a new LLM in the field with a solid interdisciplinary grounding built into it.

iCLIC links with the University of Southampton's renowned Web Science Doctoral Training Centre to offer absorbing and challenging postgraduate research degrees relating to law and the web. Funded scholarships are available.

If you are interested in studying for a PhD and would like further information on Internet law, please contact Professor Uta Kohl.
