Multiscale visualization of the cellular microenvironment

Professor Kevin Eliceiri is an internationally known expert in advanced light microscopy. He is the Director of the Laboratory for Optical and Computational Instrumentation (LOCI) in the Graduate School and College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. The mission of LOCI is to develop advanced optical and computational techniques for imaging and experimentally manipulating living specimens. Besides a range of microscopic techniques, development of software such ImageJ and Fiji are among the prominent contributions of LOCI.
