Boat People: Some Legal and Practical Considerations relating to Migration by Sea

The Institute of Maritime Law ran it's first Conference on the highly topical subject of Boat People. Organised by Senior Research Fellow to the IML Kathy Goddard and one of the IML's PhD students Ainhoa Campas Valasco, we were joined by speakers both internally and externally covering a wide range of subjects within the Boat People theme. Many thanks go to both Kathy and Ainhoa along with all our speakers, and those who came along and contributed through questions and discussion. It was a truly thought provoking workshop in a relaxed, friendly and open environment.
