Guest lecture to Maritime LLM students by Aldo Mordiglia

Today Aldo Mordiglia from Studio Legale Mordiglia in Genoa gave a seminar to a cohort of about 90 LLM students at the University of Southampton.

 

Aldo joined Are Solum from P&I Club Gard SA and Prof. Filippo Lorenzon to illustrate the difficulties of enforcing and securing cargo claims in Italy. Are shared his experience of negotiating letters of undertaking and settling claims from a P&I perspective while Filippo linked this practical insight with the English legal framework of the course.
