New research grant awarded to IML Member Dr Jenny Jingbo Zhang
Dr Jenny Zhang been awarded a Law School Research Support Grant for her research proposal titled “The Future of International Trade Finance under Existing Legal Framework”.
This project aims to consider the legal viability of the digitalised autonomous systems as substitutes to the traditional documentary credits under the existing legal framework. It will also reflect the legal challenges on electrification within the domain of international commercial and shipping transactions.
Dr Zhang will look for a one-month full-time research assistant for this project, aiming to start from April.
