Professor Andrew Serdy speaks at UN workshop

Published: 15 April 2019

Last week our Director, Professor Andrew Serdy, attended a workshop in Rome held by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN.

He gave three short presentations on the middle day to introduce successive sessions of the workshop which was looking at rights-based management of deep-sea fisheries in areas beyond national jurisdiction, and was attended by representatives of several regional fisheries management bodies. The subject matter falls within the issues canvassed in Andrew’s 2016 book The New Entrants Problem in International Fisheries Law, published by Cambridge University press.
