Seminar by visiting academic

This afternoon some of our team enjoyed a seminar from on of our library visitors.

Dr Wei ZHAO has been researching in the IML as part of the Visiting Academic programme, Dr ZHAO joined us from Henen University School of Law. Much of his focus during his time here as been his research proposal on the legal issues in relation to the equitable maritime delimitation in the South China Sea, with a particular interest in the maritime delimitation beyond the Beibu bay ( the Gulf of Tonkin) between China and Vietnam.

Today's seminar was titled 'Maritime Delimitation between China and Vietnam:
Legal Issues, Practices and Prospects' and marks the end of Dr ZHAO's stay here in Southampton as he will return to China in the next week or so. It has been a pleasure to have Wei here and we wish him well in his future research.
