Three new academics join the Institute of Maritime Law

New members at the IML

The Director, Dr Alexandros X.M. Ntovas, is pleased to warmly welcome and share formally the news of three new academics joining the Institute of Maritime Law who bring great expertise and talent.  As he has already prefaced in the 2021 Annual Report this is part of our Law School’s ongoing expansion in the specialisms of private maritime and commercial law, among other areas of the law in which the colleagues intensively teach and research. 

Professor Andrea Lista joined the School and Institute as a Professor of Maritime and Commercial Law. Andrea' s research interests lie with the areas of International Trade (contracts concluded on shipment terms), the enforcement of maritime claims, international commercial arbitration, and competition law.

Dr Ainhoa Campàs Velasco joined the School and Institute as a Lecturer in Law. Ainhoa has specialised in the carriage of good by sea, litigation and cargo claims, charterparty disputes and maritime administrative proceedings.

Dr Feng Wang joined the School and Institute as a Lecturer in Law. Feng’s research interests are primarily in the fields of insurance law, marine insurance law, maritime law and law and technology.
