To celebrate the launch of its new Private International Law group, the Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Southampton is holding a one day conference “London - a safe haven for resolving disputes?” on Friday 27 January 2017. There will be four panels on the Global and European scene on Court Jurisdiction and Arbitration; Anti-suit injunctions; Arbitration; and How do Conflict of Laws arise? - the Chinese Perspective. Speakers are drawn from the Institute of Maritime Law, practitioners and academics from other universities with particular expertise in their area. The conference is generously hosted by Reed Smith LLP.
