Celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, founder of the Sikh Faith, which the University’s India Centre for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development is honoured to be hosting in partnership with the High Commission of India.

On Tuesday 5 November the India Centre for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development hosted a Special Seminar on Guru Nanak Dev Ji and His Teaching on Peace, Humanity and Equality in the 21st Century, with a special keynote address from Dr Opinderjit Kaur Takher MBE FHEA, Director of the Centre for Sikh and Punjabi Studies at the University of Wolverhampton. 

We are honoured that H.E. Mr Charenjeet Singh, Deputy High Commissioner of India to the UK, joined us for this prestigious event, despite the inclement weather.
