Prof Guy Poppy has just returned from the Rio+20 Earth Summit and will now be taking part in the panel for The Guardian's live chat on ' Creating a culture of collaboration in universities'.
The aim of the live chat is to debate the challenges and highlight best practice in developing a cross-discipline culture within a University. Drawing on the significant progress made by the University of Southampton in developing interdisciplinary research groups, Guy Poppy will share best practice in team-building, assess the opportunities presented through social networks and discuss what the future of interdisciplinarity might be.
