Event details
Computational Modelling Speed Dating is an opportunity for researchers with little or no experience in simulation, data processing and visualisation to meet selected members of the Computational Modelling Group in an informal one-to-one setting.
How can computational modelling expertise support your research?
Computational Modelling Speed Dating is an opportunity for researchers with little or no experience in simulation, data processing and visualisation to meet selected members of the Computational Modelling Group in an informal one-to-one setting.
The purpose of this event is to create and foster collaboration between non-computational researchers and members of the computational modelling group to best exploit the expertise available at the university.
It is not necessary to register for this event: if you have a piece of work (in any subject!) where you think that this might benefit from computational methods (including simulation, data storage, processing and visualisation), then please come along to explore options.
If you have questions about the setup, please get in touch with Hans Fangohr or Richard Edwards .
Refreshments available from 2pm -- please feel free to drop in anytime between 2pm and 3pm. Open to all - please come by!
This event is part of Multidisciplinary Research Week which is happening here at the University of Southampton from Monday, January 31 to Friday, February 4, 2011.
