Event details

A zine is a small-circulation, self-published magazine. This event offers researchers in related disciplines the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas about their research, and produce an instant zine together. This is a social and creative event, run by a Graphic Arts team from the Winchester School of Art, to develop new ways to promote and communicate interdisciplinary research.

Zines, an exhibition curated by James Branch and Cui Su, will be previewed from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. The zine from today's event will be added to the exhibition as it rolls off the press. Zines is part of Print Matters , a group of three exhibitions related to artists' publications that are located in the Hartley Library and at the Winchester School of Art .

PhD students concerned with Life Sciences, NanoScience or the Sensored Environment are welcome. Places are limited, please register.

This event is part of Multidisciplinary Research Week which is happening here at the University of Southampton from Monday, January 31 to Friday, February 4, 2011.
