Event details
IfLS - Southampton Neurosciences Group Seminar Presented by Professor Ole Paulsen, Department of Physiology, University of Cambridge
Professor Paulsen is interested in the circuit mechanisms of memory. His presentation will focus on the recent finding that mouse hippocampal synaptic plasticity is different according to whether the afferent fibres originate in the left or right hemisphere. The implications of this hemispheric asymmetry for behavioural memory and amyloid beta-induced impairment of hippocampal LTP will be discussed.
All welcome, refreshments available after the seminar.
