MRW13: Your Brain at the Cocktail Party Event

For people with a hearing impairment listening to a conversation at a cocktail party can be very challenging. By mimicking the way the normal ear and brain transform speech in noise to make it easier to understand we hope to improve performance of hearing aids and automatic speech recognition.

Please be aware that filming and photography will be carried out throughout the Multidisciplinary Research Week. If you would like to object to being filmed or photographed throughout the event, then please contact interdisciplinary@soton.ac.uk
