Event details

Fed up of having too many old worn out clothes filling up your wardrobe? Fancy having some new fancy clothes but got no money to actually buy them? The first Southampton Swap Shop of the year is coming soon. Swap your way to a new wardrobe at little cost to you and the environment.

It's easy to take part:
1. Drop off your unwanted (clean and in an acceptable condition) items between 08.30 and 11.00 at the Cube (Building 42).
2. Receive a token for each item you donate (up to a maximum of 10).
3. Return between 12:00-15:00 to exchange your tokens for your new favourite clothes

It's not just for women - we're inviting donations of men's, women's, and children's clothes as well as items to meet all your fancy dress and accessories needs.

What if I don't have anything to donate?
Don't worry if you don't want to give away any of your old clothes - you can buy items from 12.30- 3.00pm for bargain prices - just £1 for clothes and 50p for accessories. Our prices won't be beaten anywhere else on the High Street!

Any money raised will be donated to RAG and leftover items after the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

So raid out your wardrobes, dust down those old shoes and come along to what is expected to be one of the biggest events on campus this year. You never know, you may find some real bargains!
