Following on from the success of Interdisciplinary Research Week 2013 we are now pleased to announce that Interdisciplinary Research Week 2014 will take place between 23rd-27th March.
Additional Information
The University currently manages four impact acceleration accounts (IAAs) across various faculties and different funders (EPSRC £3.2m, BBSRC £110K, NERC £270K, and ESRC £800K), which all have an underlying theme/emphasis on supporting engagement and knowledge transfer between industry partners and academics. The impact team, based within Research and Innovation Services (RIS), manages the University's IAAs portfolio through a variety of engagement mechanisms, that include secondments/internships, impact projects (Enterprise Fund), industry engagement activity and events, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), case study generation and hosting funder workshops.
The Impact Team will be joining the interdisciplinary activities throughout the week and would be happy to meet with you to discuss the work it does.
