Event details

Come and meet with members of the partnership from both the UK and Ghana, and hear about how we have been working together to improve stroke care at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra

“Health links are all about people working together to share ideas, knowledge and friendship to improve healthcare – THET Health Links Manual (2009)”

We are a THET funded partnership, who have been working together to develop multidisciplinary stroke care at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra since 2009.

This informal gathering will provide the opportunity to hear about the work of the Wessex-Ghana Stroke Partnership, to talk to members of the team, and to network with others who are interested in international healthcare. Throughout September, we will be welcoming three of our colleagues from Ghana. During this evening, we will be sharing our experience of working together, and celebrating the success of the partnership.

Oasis Coffee Lounge……

The coffee lounge is at the rear of the hospital, on the ground floor, East Wing. From the hospital main entrance, go past the stairs and around to the right. Follow signs for the East Wing – past the Stroke Unit on the left. Take the first left after the Stroke Unit – the Oasis Coffee Lounge is at the end of this corridor.

Tea/coffee and a light sandwich buffet will be provided.

There is no formal agenda for the evening – please feel free to drop in any time between 5.30-7pm

To help us to plan and ensure that we provide enough sandwiches, please RSVP to
