Professor Melanie Welham, Executive Director Science at BBSRC will be on campus on 5thOctober. The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is the UK’s leading funder of academic research and training in the non-clinical life sciences in universities and funds research to improve the fundamental understanding of the biological systems upon which all human life depends. Their research portfolio spans the microbial, plant and animal kingdoms, from molecules to cells, to whole organisms and populations.
