The Wellcome Trust will be visiting the University of Southampton on Monday 16th November to talk about the funding opportunities available to researchers.
The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health by supporting bright minds in science, the humanities and social sciences, and public engagement.
They offer a wide variety of funding schemes to support individual researchers, teams, resources, seed ideas and major strategic initiatives. Their research portfolio spans across biomedical science, humanities and the social sciences and is open to researchers from a wide variety of disciplines.
We are keen to encourage academics from across the University to attend the event and take the opportunity to find out about the funding opportunities available and to consider applying to the Wellcome Trust in the future.
