Event details
Dr Jessica Boname, Programme Manager at the Medical Research Council will be visiting the University on 7th July at Southampton General Hospital. The aim of the visit is to provide an opportunity for researchers to hear about the latest funding opportunities and to gain an insight into writing successful applications to the MRC.
There will also be an opportunity for Early Career Researchers to talk directly with Dr Boname over lunch regarding their career development in terms of individual awards and fellowships at an Early Career Researchers workshop.

10:00am – 10:50am - Overview of MRC remit, funding opportunities and grant writing advice (Open to All)

12:15pm – 14:00pm
- Early Career Researchers workshop – small group sessions providing an opportunity to talk in more detail about individual funding opportunities and fellowships (Lunch provided, Limited places, booking required) -
Location: South Academic Block, Southampton General Hospital
