The University of Southampton
International Summer School

Your Southampton Summer School student experience

Stay near the University campus and enjoy socialising with other summer school students with a social programme of events.

Where you’ll stay

You’ll get your own room close to our University campus for an accommodation fee.

Your room will be in the Glen Eyre hall of residence close to Highfield Campus. It’s a home from home with kitchens, TV and computer rooms, WiFi and a laundry. You’ll get bedding and a towel, with private bathroom facilities. Some meals are included: breakfast every day, and dinner Monday to Friday.

You’ll have somebody on the front desk 24 hours a day, so feel safe and check in whenever you like.

You can stay with us for the dates of the summer school, 6 July to 27 July 2024. If you want to stay longer in the UK, or stay somewhere else during the summer school, you’re free to find other accommodation yourself.

The people you’ll share a kitchen with will be of any gender. For any special requests, email us at: summer@soton.ac.uk.

“Living in University halls made it easy to settle in, and I made great friends during the first week! We have stayed close ever since and supported each other throughout the year.”
