Science & Engineering Day 2020
ISLNE Researchers contribute content to the Virtual Science & Engineering Day 2020.
The University of Southampton's Science & Engineering Day is an annual festival, celebrating the cutting-edge STEM research taking place at the University. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was decided that the 2020 festival would be held digitally, with the exhibits being shown using online media.
Charlie House, a PhD Researcher within the ISLNE team, was commissioned to create a number of videos for the event alongisde other ISVR researchers, including
- Active Noise Control Demonstration
- Active Vibration Control Demonstration
- Acoustic Black Hole Demonstration
- Loudspeaker Array Demonstration
- Virtual Tour of ISVR Facilities
Many of these exhibits are showcasing the cutting-edge research being conducted by the ISLNE Research team, with the team recently publishing articles on Acoustic Black Holes, Active Structural Acoustic Control, and Active Acoustic Cloaking.
