Inter-Noise 2020

Three members of the Intelligent Structures for Low Noise Environments research team recently presented their work at Inter-Noise 2020.

Due to the on-going COVID19 situation, Inter-Noise 2020 was held virtually with presentations being given over video.

Associate Professor Jordan Cheer presented his work On the potential of a functionally graded acoustic black hole using multi-material additive manufacturing, as well as chairing a session on Active Control of vehicle noise.

PhD Researchers Charlie House and Kristian Hook respectively presented An investigation into the effect of uncertainty on active acoustic cloaking and Minimisation of the reflection coefficient in a beam using an active acoustic black hole.
