Kirsty McDougall is a lecturer in law within Southampton Law School. She joined the school in 2017 having previously held a tutor in law position at the University of Glasgow. Her main research interests are in EU energy regulation and EU competition law.

Kirsty holds degrees in LLB (Hons), LLM International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow.

Research interests

Kirsty’s primary research interests are focused on the enforcement of European competition law in regulated sectors.

Her current research lies in European energy regulation, examining the role occupied by competition enforcement.
