Southampton Law School SQE Information

The Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) is introducing a new method of assessment for qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales, which will be called the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Comprehensive information on what is currently known about the SQE can be found on the Law Society’s website: https://www.lawsociety.org.uk/law-careers/becoming-a-solicitor/sqe-overview/

The SRA has announced that the SQE will be introduced in autumn 2021.

The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors and has been involved in representing the profession’s interests to the SRA.

More information will be posted here as it becomes available, in order to help students make the best choices for their future.
