LLM Careers Fair

The School of Law LLM Careers Fair took place on 10th March 2010 and was once again a great success. The LLM Careers Fair, is an event which gives students the opportunity to meet prospective employers and familiarise themselves with the UK and international job market for LLM graduates.

Exhibitors came from a wide range of areas and included law firms, consultancy companies, insurance brokers, recruitment agencies, and a legal practice course provider. Students made very useful contacts during the evening and it provided them with an insight into the recruitment process. The evening was rounded off with a drinks and buffet reception.

The Careers Fair is accompanied by a ‘Q & A’ Session hosted by Professor Charles Debattista, with a panel of distinguished LLM alumni guest speakers. On this occasion the debate was lively and well received by an audience made up of current LLM students.
