School of Law Postgraduate Research Students reach Finals of University Design Competition
Six of the School of Law’s Post Graduate Research student community have been involved as part of a team in the University’s Create Your Campus design competition to design, present and if successful see built a new room in the University’s Hartley Library.
The team consisting of Aysegul Bugra, Emma Nottingham, Harry East, Assad Khan, Haedong Jeon, Thomas Webber of the School of Law and Isaac Wong of the School of Psychology were successful in reaching the final stages of the competition where they were unfortunately pipped to the post by the design by team fgConcept.
The team enjoyed the experience of getting to know one another and working on a collaborative basis. Thomas Webber from the team said: "Being new to the PGR community this was the perfect opportunity to get to know my new colleagues and work together on something that would not only benefit me, but also the rest of the University. There is a real sense of community in the School of Law, not least amongst the postgraduate research students. Although we were not the eventual winners we all gained a lot from the experience and would like to wish team fgConcept all the best with the finalising and building of their design."
