Gabriele Ganz Public Law Lecture Series: Background
The lecture series was established in honour of Professor Gabriele Ganz at the time of her retirement from the University in 1995 after spending virtually the whole of her working life in the Law School. The underlying theme of the series has been a connection to the issues of public law reflecting Gabi's area of scholarship. Public law has always been taken widely to include aspects of political, administrative and constitutional processes. Indeed, previous lecturers have included judges, academics, politicians and legal practitioners.
