Distance learning LLM students come to Southampton
The first study weekend of the distance learning IT and Telecommunications law LLM course took place 3rd - 4th September, at the School of Law. Attendees took part both in person and remotely, with professors Ian Lloyd supported by Steve Saxby leading discussions on information security and eCommerce law, two of the modules offered on the course. There was a range of lively discussion, both during the days and in the pub afterwards.
Joy Caisley, the School of Law’s librarian, presented on remote research, and answered students’ questions about the various online resources available. Given the distance learning nature of the course, this was a very valuable session.
The weekend was a great success.
