ILAWS specialists discuss cyberlaw in Russia

Members of Southampton’s Institute for Law and the Web (ILAWS) Professor Ian Lloyd and Roksana Moore recently gave presentations at the first International Summer School on Cyberlaw at the National Research University in Moscow.

They spoke about latest developments in internet regulation and open source, alongside representatives from IBM, Microsoft and Baker Botts LLP. Sessions included Telecommunications Law, IT/IP in the Digital Era, Cybersecurity and IT/Business and Law.

Director of ILAWS, Professor Steve Saxby says: "This was the first International Summer School on Cyberlaw and was widely held to be a resounding success. We look forward to taking part in future events and are grateful to the organiser, Associate Professor Irina Bogdanovskaya from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow)."
