Southampton Law School opens its doors to prospective students
Prospective undergraduates will have the chance to find out what it’s like to study law at the University of Southampton at a special pre-higher education application event on 19 July.
During small-group, interactive sessions, year 12 students will find out about areas of law covered on the LLB programme at Southampton Law School, including human rights and employment law. The day will focus on key skills such as advocacy and teamwork.
As well as information about the degree programme, the event will offer an insight into the wide range of careers that students can pursue when they graduate.
There will also be information sessions about Southampton Law School and a chance to hear from current students about life on campus, the University’s vibrant social scene and the range of activities, clubs and societies on offer.
The day, which runs from 11:00 to 16:30, is open to current year 12 students who are planning to apply for a place on an undergraduate law programme in the 2013/14 admissions cycle. It may also be useful for those considering writing their EPQ essays on human rights and/or discrimination.
Students can book their place by
