Prospective students praise faculty Open Days

Published: 7 September 2013 Origin:  Southampton Management School

This weekend, the University of Southampton welcomed prospective students and their families on campus for our Open Days.

Open Days offer the opportunity to discover more about studying at Southampton, and get a feel for student life. Our academics were on hand to talk about our flexible degree programmes and employability after graduation. There was the opportunity to discover our cutting-edge facilities and resources and explore our campus and find out about the lively student social scene.

Students visiting the Faculty of Business and Law were also provided with the opportunity to have some fun. Outside the law building, were two marquees providing prospective students with the opportunity to make their own smoothie using pedal-power, and to have a fun picture with their guests in our Cheeky Pix photo booth.

Enjoying the smoothie bike fun!

Prospective students praised the open day and it was a resounding success. Prospective student Leah Burton, said the photo booth was ‘Great! And a lovely memento’ while Sarah Pearson remarked ‘It was an amazing idea, I loved it because it allows students to take a memory home with them.’ To see more images from our Open Days, visit our Management or Law Facebook pages.

If you couldn’t join us this time, you can find out about forthcoming dates here , or check out our Virtual Open Day .
