ILAWS Researcher authors chapter in new open source software book

ILAWS member Neil Brown has contributed to a new book on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
Free and Open Source Software Policy, Law and Practice (OUP) is the first book to analyse this increasingly important aspect of IT, which is embodied in many of the products we use and the systems we rely on. It examines the legal and commercial structures surrounding FOSS, in relation to different intellectual property (IP) regimes and its commercial and policy implications.
Neil, who is studying for a PhD at ILAWS has written a chapter about the use of FOSS in business.
