Pro Bono Opportunity in Southampton

Published: 16 October 2017

Calling all Southampton Law School alumni.

The CLEAR citylife project, based in Southampton, seeks to improve the quality of life of refugees and asylum seekers by providing free advice and supporting people to access local services. CLEAR would like to offer legal advice on asylum and refugee law, but to do that, they require pro bono assistance, even for a few hours every month. Southampton Law School is working with the project, and seeks a solicitor or barrister able and willing to donate some time to the CLEAR project in Southampton city centre. If a legal practitioner can be found to assist, then Southampton Law School would like to invite student volunteers to help the practitioner with the casework.

Can you help, please? If you are interested please contact Head of School, Professor Brenda Hannigan at bmh@southampton.ac.uk
